Oprah’s Debt Diet is like Cliff Notes for all those financial help books you’ve been meaning to read. She teams up with 3 of the top financial advisers and has created an 8-Step Guide that will walk you through:
1.) Figuring out much debt you really have.
2.) Really tracking your spending and finding “extra” money
3.) Prioritizing which credit cards to pay down first ( my favorite!)
4.) Looking at expenses and creating a realistic budget
5.) Understanding and raising your credit score

Ms. Winfrey thinks that you will tackle a step a week but, honestly, I did it in a little over 2 hours. Kinda like my dating style, I wanted to know everything right away rather than pacing out. Take however long you want with it but do finish it.
